The international volunteer team from CYUT cooperated with the nonprofit organization and built a library in Tanzania

Love is borderless. The international volunteer team from CYUT cooperated with the nonprofit organization, Bookfeeding Project, to have a 21-day volunteer trip in Tanzania, Africa. After the volunteers of CYUT had spent three months in Taiwan collecting almost 2000 English books, they brought those books to Africa.

With the support from the university, this trip has given the students different learning experiences and expanded their international version. Mr. You-Hang Chang, the lead teacher of the CYUT volunteer team, also took his 10 years old daughter with him to help people in need.

A mother who carried her child on her back expressed her appreciation and embraced the volunteers from Taiwan on the opening day of the first-ever library. The volunteers made a pack to each other that they will come back to Africa and build the second library next year, fulfilling the dream of the children in Tanzania!
