The German and Japanese Scholars Shared the IoT Technology Achievements at the International Forum held at CYUT

With rapid development of global information technology, Informatics College at CYUT held the 2018 International Symposium on Information Technology on April 21st. Through publications and exchanges of academic papers, Taiwan’s information technology capabilities have improved, and international visibility has intensified. The conference focuses on various information technology theory and applications, communication network technologies and applications, smart living, and enterprise intelligence and knowledge management. We also invited Prof. Markus Westner (Regensburg University of Technology in Bavaria, Germany), Prof. Yutaka Funyu (former vice president of Iwate Prefectural University, Japan), Prof. Goutam Chakraborty (Dean of International College of Iwate Prefectural University) , and Prof. Shou-De Lin (National Taiwan University) to participate in and share knowledge in the era of interlinking information technology to achieve a smarter life. During this conference, 50 English papers on information technology were released.
Li-Hua Lee, Dean of Informatics College, said that this International Symposium on Information Technology has lasted twelve years. The pivot of this conference concentrates on IoT and smart life. Since IoT technology is closely connected with everything around us, how to enjoy a smarter life turns out to be the focal and hot topic. It is hoped that through this forum we can provide an information technology exchange platform, in which more researches, discussions, and experiences will be co-shared among academics, industry, and research institutions.
