各位畢業同學：大家好

首先向畢業同學們道喜，完成學業獲得文憑。雖然今年初夏鳳凰花開依舊燦爛火紅，搖曳生姿，但是較之往年，此時卻不見校園充滿歡樂的畢業季氣氛，空蕩的庭園聽不到穿學士袍同學拋擲學士帽的熱情歡呼，師生正默默的經歷了一場嚴峻的疫情衝擊考驗，同窗間彼此所有的虔誠祝福只能在話機尾端或是網路線上傳遞著。這是一個艱困的時期，相信這也是一個自我沉潛耕耘、靜心調適，等待下一個階段風起翻轉飛騰時刻的來臨。在這段特殊的時期，師生緊密團結並配合政府作為，共同齊力抗疫。我們展現了朝陽人自律堅毅的精神，強化了校園清消，停止舉辦謝師活動與畢業典禮。此刻，即使大家無法面對面彼此祝福話別，共襄扶持激勵，校長特別用公開信函，祝勉畢業同學，能順利邁向人生新的里程碑。

雖然目前整體社會大環境佈滿顛簸荊棘，但是當同學們拿到畢業證書，這就代表邁入人生新的階段，要為自己的人生負責，未來的路，必需靠自己選擇、自己打拼。離開學校是自我學習的開始，只有不斷的自我學習、吸收新知，才能確保各位手中所擁有的是「文憑」，而不是一張具有賞味期的保證書。另一方面，面對疫情的快速變化，讓許多原本預期的轉變，變成了日常的現實，而這些，正是大家畢業後踏入社會所必須面對的挑戰。校長期許各位，要不斷自主學習來累積學識，同時不拘工作所需專業程度之高低多寡，樂意從最職涯底層穩健逐次累積實務經驗。如此，隨時厚蓄學識與經驗，才能因應現況若干就業機會困難與面對可能未知的工作內涵變遷，以迎接新的契機，為人生開展坦途。

畢業後進入職場，大家都希望能夠成功順遂，但事實上要成就一番事業並不容易。同學們請謹記：凡事不可超之過急，有句名言「登高必自卑，行遠必自邇」。塵世間，絕對沒有一部通向成功的直達電梯，只能一步一腳印，從微不足道的工作做起，同時走好走遠，一定要有志同道合的夥伴，共同打拼，相互切磋激勵。面對異常的病毒大流行，我們戴上口罩，保持社交距離，非必要不要外出，一切以維護個人身體健康安全為首重。在此刻雖然拉遠了人與人之間的距離，但仍希望同學們不要忘記關心夥伴，關懷社會，讓彼此互惠情誼，溫暖心靈化解憂慮。至盼永遠保持著正向思維和生活熱情來處世做人，凡事不要怕吃苦，不要計較一時的得失，隨時修正自己，把簡單的事當作重要的事，把例行的事當作新辦的事，把困難的事當作贏得成就感的試煉，這就是敬業的基本功夫。巨大的能量係來自於克服每一個微小的阻力；一棟雄偉的建築是來自於每塊堅硬磚石的正確砌疊。

學校的責任是把校牆外面的真實社會活動內涵，帶到同學的視覺範圍內，在和睦與安全的環境場域中，學習成長個人的工作能力，學會成熟個人的應變智慧，正如同這段日子，我們經歷了疫情快速變化所帶來的巨大影響，不僅修改了我們的行為模式，也改變了我們的工作與生活型態，這樣的調整與調適，或許將成為未來的常態。面對此新的環境認知，無庸置疑正是激勵大家要學會成熟個人智慧與應變能力，緣此才能在快速紛變的社會中找到自己的位置。
畢業同學即將邁入社會，未來也會組建家庭，同時成為社會的中堅分子。如何讓家庭穩定，增加個人的幸福感，首要的秘訣在於養成儲蓄習慣並善用理財工具。先充分了解自己的財務性格與承擔風險的能耐，凡事開銷量入為出，審慎駕馭個人欲望，避免被金錢左右，做好個人財務管理，雖然不一定都能大富大貴，但一定可以享受穩健的生活。

同學們，當你離開校園後，要時時用誠懇、友善和勤勞來擦拭我們朝陽這塊名校的招牌；也許你可能遭遇挫折、學用有所不足，甚至改變職涯選擇，要因應這些挑戰與轉折，都歡迎隨時回到母校向師長請益，或是再次回學校進修深造，使自己的前程更加充滿信心。藉此一併向陪同你們成長成熟的師長們致謝，祝福全體畢業同學，鵬程萬里、順利成功！

Encouragement Speech from the President

Dear Graduates,

To begin with, I would like to congratulate our graduates for they have completed their learning and attained the diploma. This summer, the phoenix flowers still bloom and sway in splendor, but I could no longer feel the joy of this season of graduation but the empty courtyard. I could no longer hear the hurray from students throwing their graduation caps but the silent campus. Indeed, the school had just experienced a severe impact due to the epidemic. We can only express wishes and regards through the internet or phone call. We are in the course of difficult times, but it is also an opportunity for contemplation and adjustment, getting prepared for the next bounce. During this exceptional period, we all work closely with the government and together fight against the epidemic. We strengthen the campus disinfection and suspend all kinds of graduation activities. We demonstrate the self-discipline and perseverance of Chaoyangers. Though we could not say goodbye and encourage each other in person at the moment, by writing this letter, I wish to pass on my profound congratulations to all of you. 

When you receive the graduation certificate, you embark on a new chapter of life where you must be responsible for yourself and make choices that determine your future, albeit full of difficulties. It is also the beginning of your lifelong learning journey. Only when you continue learning new knowledge can you assure that your diploma is not only a sheet of paper with expired validity. Moreover, facing the rapidly changing epidemic, many unexpected encounters turn into daily normality. That is what you have to face after graduation. I hope you can accumulate knowledge by self-learning. Do not mind starting from junior positions or jobs with lesser professional requirements because this can help you build up experience progressively. Knowledge and experience teach you what to do in times of adversity and lay a smooth path ahead.

Everyone wants to have a successful career, but it is never easy. There is no one-stop service for success. However, we can start from humble jobs and climb up step by step. It is good to have companions supporting each other and moving in the same direction together. In the face of this abnormal virus, wear masks, maintain social distancing and avoid going out. Nothing is more important than protecting our health and safety. Though we are far apart, we still have to care for others and our society. Let us keep our bonding and comfort those in need. Live with passion and positive thinking. Do not disappoint too soon because hardship and failure are good for us. Keep improving. Take simple tasks as important ones, routine as new assigned ones and difficulties as opportunities to succeed. That is what a professional should do. Powerful strength comes from efforts in overcoming tiny obstacles. Similarly, a magnificent construction comes from the stacking of hard bricks.

The school is responsible for showing students how society operates and providing a peaceful and safe environment to pile up their capabilities and intelligence. Taking the outbreak that we have gone through as an example. The impact altered our behavior and work-life style, and such adjustment and transformation might become the new normal in the future. Only when we use intelligence and resilience can we find ourselves a suitable position in the new surroundings.

You will soon start your career and a few years later, you will have your family. By that time, you may already have achievements or contributions to society. How to maintain the stability of your family and personal happiness? The No. 1 task is to save money and make good use of financial tools. Figure out your financial need and the risk level that you can bear. Spend within your means, control your desire and never let money take control of you. Spend time on your financial management. In the end, you may not necessarily get rich but can enjoy a stable life.

As a graduate and ambassador of CYUT, let people see your sincerity, friendliness and hardworking attitude. Whenever you feel frustrated, need inspiration or want to change your career, bear in mind that your alma mater is here. We always welcome you home, talk to your teachers or further your study to equip yourself with confidence. My gratitude to your teachers who accompany you and witness your growth. Congratulations again on your graduation! I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
