This is the 7^th consecutive years that the Environmental Protection Administration Executive Yuan, R.O.C. (Taiwan) has launched the “National Environmental Education Award” aiming at implementing environmental education nationally. The result of the award has been announced on the 21^st September 2020 and CYUT won the “Supreme Excellence” in the school category, the only university in Taiwan that attained this award. The President of CYUT, Tao-ming Cheng, honorably accepted the trophy from Tzi-Chin Chang, the Minister of Environmental Protection.

  CYUT actively developed the “Wall-less Environmental Education Place” and became the first university in Taiwan that granted the Certification on Environmental Education Facilities by the Environmental Protection Administration. CYUT also established an environmental education information platform for advocating industry-academia collaboration. Students won awards in research and development on environmental education topics and formed international volunteer team to promote international environmental education in countries like Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, India and Tanzania of Africa.
