  • Dr. Yueh-Chin Chen (Business Administration) and Dr. Wen-Ling Hsu (Marketing and Logistics Management) were recognized for Excellence in MOE Teaching Practice Research Program.

Year 2024

  • Honorary Chair Professor Chin-Chen Chang has been awarded Member of the European Academy of Sciences in London, UK; Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Austria; and Member of the U.S. National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI) (the only recipient in Taiwan).
  • Dr. Yann-Long Lee and student Chia-Ming Yeh of Industrial Design won Gold at the World Invention Innovation Contest 2024.

  • Han-Hsien Tseng of Communication Arts won 2 Golden Bell Awards (Creative Award for a Drama Series, Most Popular Drama Series) by producing the drama Copycat Killer.
  • Tzu-Yi Chang of Communication Arts won the Best Drama Series in the Golden Bell Awards by producing the drama Mad Doctor.
  • Hsu-Hao Chen of Communication Arts won the Best Sound Design in the Golden Bell Awards 2023 with his work Reclaim My Summer.
  • Hao-Wei Chen of Communication Arts directed the film “Reclaim My Summer” and entered the Asian Short Film Competition (Wide Angle) at the 28th Busan International Film Festival as well as the Golden Bell Awards 2023 nominations on Best Newcomer and Best Sound Design.
  • Tzu-Yi Chang of Communication Arts produced the drama “Mad Doctor” and won seven Golden Bell Awards 2023 nominations, including Best Leading Actress, Best Newcomer, Best TV Series, Best Directing, Best Writing, Best Visual Effect, and Best Costume Design.
  • Tzu-Wei Yeh of Communication Arts won the Best Art Direction nomination at the 25th Taipei Film Festival with his work “The Abandoned”.
  • Vision Chen of Architecture won the Best Original Film Song nomination at the 60th Golden Horse Awards with his work “Untitled” for the film Marry My Dead Body.
  • Pei-Chen Liao of Industrial Design won Gold in the National Competitor Selection for the 47th World Skills Competition.
  • Tzu-Yu Wang and Man-Zih Cai of Industrial Design won second and fifth place in the 53rd National Skills Competition respectively.

  • Yu-Lun LIU of Industrial Design won the Red Dot Design and IF Design Award 2022 with his bicycle design GEOMETRY-X.
  • Guan-He LIU, Ting-Ni JIM, and Yu-Yi CHIANG of Industrial Design won the Asian New Generation Design Award and Silver Medal in the ICARE Universal Design Award by designing assistive products, WeXare, to enhance the mobility of lower limb disabled persons.

  • Chih-Meng WANG of EMBA and the General Manager of Palmary Machinery won the Honorable Mention in the 15th Machine Tool Competition.

  • Tzu-Wei YEH of Communication Arts won the finalist in Best Art Direction of the 59th Golden Horse Awards with his work “The Abandoned”.

  • I-Shan LI of Communication Arts with her work “Sisters’ Busy Hands” won the finalist in the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.

  • Ha-Yuan CHANG of Communication Arts with his work “Oasis” won the Silver Medal in Documentary Film of Top 100 Micro Movie Awards and the finalist in the Taoyuan Film Festival and Kaohsiung Film Festival.
