Epidemic Preventive Measures for In-person Classes

  1. The following measures are implemented according to the notice from the Ministry of Education dated 2022.05.03.
  2. Classroom Teaching
    (1) Adopt fixed seating and participants. Teachers should take photos for easy reference and follow-up if they cannot arrange fixed seating.
    (2) We strongly advise teachers to wear masks. For special education needs, teachers can use transparent masks. Students should wear masks at all times, keep hands sanitized and forbid eating or drinking.

    (3) Keep classrooms in good ventilation. Clean and disinfect classrooms regularly, including used facilities and equipment.
  3. Physical Education and Practicum
    A. Physical Education

    (1) Teachers and students should wear masks during class. Masks can be off during exercise provided that there is no respiratory symptom and participants can maintain sufficient social distance.
    (2) Teachers and students should have their masks ready anytime and wear them after exercise and when not exercising.

    (3) Students should avoid sharing equipment. If students take turns using equipment, it should be cleaned and disinfected before each turn.

    (4) Indoor and outdoor sports grounds should implement masks wearing measures and disinfection of environment and equipment.

    B. Practicum
Adopt fixed groups and avoid students sharing equipment during laboratory work or practicum. If students take turns using equipment, it should be cleaned and disinfected before each turn.
  4. Students applying for leave if having symptoms
If students have fever, cough, respiratory symptoms, diarrhea, or abnormal smell and taste, seek medical attention at once, rest at home, and avoid going out or entering campus. The school will not count as absent under such circumstances.

The above arrangement is subject to change according to the epidemic development and the latest guideline from the Ministry of Education.
