Employers scramble to hire CYUT graduates
The Office of Alumni Service and Career Development hosted the annual Career Expo on 18th April 2023, attracting 122 top enterprises to join, including King Yuan Electronics, Data Systems Consulting Co., Ltd., Hi Lai Foods, Umai House Horse Yakiniku, and Lihpao Resort Fullon Hotel. The expo encompassed 4,000 vacancies in information technology, construction, service, manufacturing, insurance, tourism, catering, and hotel.
Graduates were keen to meet professionals in various fields and understand workplace requirements. There were 19 companies offering job opportunities for disabled students this year, including Tienli Offshore Wind, Taiwan Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Co., Ltd., Da Fon Environmental Technology, and Zhen Yu Hardware. Government units such as the National Armed Forces, Council of Indigenous People, and Taichung-Changhua-Nantou Workforce Development Agency also participated.
The Career Expo aims to develop graduates’ job connections and acquaint them with the proper preparation and skills required for job-seeking. Employers are happy to hire CYUT graduates not only because of their professional know-how but they are also impressed by graduates' teamwork, interactions, continuous learning, and responsible work attitude, particularly their ability to achieve SDGs.
