Leisure service management students developed traceable products of black rice and grains for the nutrition needs of elderly and to help them achieve food safety and a low-carb diet. Black rice consists of anthocyanin that regulates immunity and eliminates free radicals. It passed the test of the CYUT Agro-processing Certification Center. The team targeted to set up a central kitchen and display stores and work with agribusiness and media to promote their products and develop a six-grade industry in the long run.
Another award-winning project from leisure service management is a standardized system to evaluate the correctness of equipment-based fitness movements with sensors. Combined with the SPOZ app, sensors are installed in gym equipment to collect data for analysis. The app will inform gym users how to correct their movements for better workout results without a coach. It is practical and convenient. The team aimed to apply this system to the CYUT AI container gym to make it a popular choice for fitness enthusiasts.
