The Architecture Department recently held a graduation exhibition for its interior design students, titled 'The Concurrence of Sparkling Ideas', at the historic Daiton District Office. The showcase was a testament to the exceptional talent of our students, featuring 51 outstanding projects encompassing residential, commercial, cultural, and medical spaces, including several award-winning designs that have brought great pride to our university.
CYUT's Architecture Department fosters excellence in both architecture and interior design. Students consistently achieve recognition through prestigious international awards like the American Architecture MasterPrize and Spanish ISARCH Awards. Many students obtain Class B Interior Designer certifications before graduation, and over 200 alumni have become licensed architects, boasting the highest pass rate among private Taiwanese technological universities.
As part of CYUT’s unwavering commitment to enhancing students' global competitiveness, the department offers dual-degree programs with Middlesex University (UK) and Shibaura Institute of Technology (Japan), providing 3+1 bachelor's and 4+1 master's options. This year, the department hosted the 2024 SDGs Taiwan Bamboo Workshop, fostering academic exchange with faculty and students from Vienna University of Technology, demonstrating our dedication to global collaboration and learning.
The Interior Design Division's exhibition concluded on May 29. However, the Architecture Design Division's exhibition runs from June 7 to 9 at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Taipei. All are welcome to attend.
