The 2024 National Conference on Insurance and Finance Education brought together industry leaders, educational institutions, and students for a vibrant exchange of ideas and exploration of the latest trends in the insurance and finance industry. CYUT showcased its exceptional educational approach in fostering student success, with graduate student Lin Heng-chun and a team of four seniors winning national championships in the paper and product innovation competitions, respectively.

The conference, themed "Green Finance - Building a Sustainable Financial Ecosystem," attracted fierce competition. Out of 145 student teams nationwide, only 40 advanced to the finals. CYUT's Department of Insurance and Finance Management was the biggest winner, securing 16 awards.

The Department of Insurance and Finance Management offers a program that stands out for its unique approach. It integrates comprehensive training in insurance, banking, and securities, providing students with a holistic understanding of the industry. The program's emphasis on practical learning through internships and cross-disciplinary coursework ensures that students are not just well-versed in theoretical knowledge, but also equipped with the practical skills and teamwork necessary to excel in their careers.  

Dean of the College of Management, Fu Chung-jen, stated that the conference provided invaluable learning opportunities for students to develop their creativity, teamwork, and skills in real-world application. Department Director Chen Mei-su highlighted that the curriculum combines CFP international certification and advanced professional certifications alongside practical projects and internship reports, preparing students with the necessary credentials upon entering the job market.
