CYUT celebrates new year with international students





The Department of Marketing and Logistics Management hosted a heartwarming New Year celebration, bringing together nearly 500 international and local students to enjoy traditional Vietnamese performances and a multicultural fashion show. Hosting almost 1,000 international students from 28 countries, CYUT is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive campus. Events like this foster cross-cultural learning and help students feel at home in Taiwan.
Professor Kuan-Yin Lee, Director of the Department of Marketing and Logistics Management, highlighted the department’s commitment to the Ministry of Education’s New Southbound Talent Development Program. With nearly 300 international students enrolled, the department is committed to nurturing marketing and logistics expertise for Taiwan and abroad, enabling students to gain professional skills and cultural insights through coursework and internships. The program helps address Taiwan’s labor shortages and strengthens economic ties with New Southbound countries.
Vietnamese student Hai-Anh Do and Indonesian student Thomas Sachio Sucihartono expressed their joy in celebrating the holiday with peers from around the world. They praised the university’s care and support, calling CYUT a second home that has enriched their academic and cultural experiences.
