The new EVERJOY PARK has opened at Daya Elementary School, filling the campus with excitement and laughter. From the hillside slide to the inclusive climbing and play structures, children of all ages explored the space with joy and called out, “Thank you, Grandpa Tien-Shen!” as they experienced the playground for the first time.

This special gift was made possible through the generosity of Dr. Tien-Shen Yang, founder and board chairman of CYUT and a proud alumnus of Daya Elementary School. Designed by CYUT’s Department of Architecture, the playground reflects SDG-inspired values of accessibility, safety, creativity, and community connection, making it one of the school’s most meaningful transformations in more than a century.

Principal Su-Yu Huang expressed deep gratitude for Dr. Yang’s long-standing dedication to his hometown, highlighting his continued support for the school through the years. Community leaders, CYUT representatives, and project partners joined the celebration, sharing a moment that brought warmth, gratitude, and new possibilities to the children and families of Daya.
