Taiwan Cooperative Bank 2026 Research Grant – Now Open for Applications
The 2026 Research Grant Program offered by Taiwan Cooperative Bank is now open for applications. Eligible students are encouraged to apply in accordance with the Research Grant Program Guidelines. All applications must be submitted no later than May 5, 2026.
Who Can Apply
You are eligible if you are:
- A senior undergraduate student (fourth year) enrolled in a public or private university in Taiwan, or
- A master’s or doctoral student who has completed at least one year of study in your current program.
Students enrolled in part-time or continuing education programs are not eligible.
Applicants who have previously received this research grant in the same academic program are also not eligible.
Research Topics
Your research should focus on economic or financial issues related to Taiwan, including but not limited to:
- Financial fraud prevention
- Artificial Intelligence in Finance (AI in Finance)
- Financial technology (FinTech) and regulatory sandboxes
- Banking laws and regulatory compliance
- Emerging financial supervision
- Risk management and governance
- Information and cybersecurity
- Digital marketing
- ESG-related sustainable finance
Award Amounts
Students whose research papers are approved by the Bank will receive a certificate of award and a cash grant:
- Undergraduate students: NT$20,000
- Master’s students: NT$30,000
- Doctoral students: NT$40,000
