CYUT Listed in 2026 THE Subject Rankings Across Four Academic Disciplines
CYUT has been ranked globally in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) Subject Rankings in Business & Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, and Education Studies. The university stood out particularly in Research Quality, Industry Collaboration, and International Outlook, ranking first among Taiwan’s private technological universities in Business & Economics, Computer Science, and Education Studies.
CYUT maintains academic partnerships with over 640 international institutions and hosts more than 1,000 international students from 28 countries. In addition to subject rankings, the university is also listed in the THE 2026 World University Rankings, QS 2026 World University Rankings, and the U.S. News & World Report 2025–2026 Best Global Universities Rankings, demonstrating its growing global academic impact.
In Computer Science, CYUT has been ranked for eight consecutive years, with international journal publications tripling and several faculty members recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists. The university also continues to perform strongly in Engineering, where it has been ranked globally for six consecutive years, supported by advanced research centers and close industry collaboration, including comprehensive aviation education and training programs.
CYUT has been ranked globally in Business & Economics for four consecutive years, rising to the 501–600 band in 2026, with nearly 400 Scopus-indexed publications produced over the past three years. Meanwhile, CYUT made its first appearance in the Education Studies rankings, highlighting its expanding international collaboration and interdisciplinary research strength.
