Hong-Ling Wang, an outstanding EMBA alumna of CYUT from the Department of Leisure Servies Management, has been named the 5^th Chairman of the CYUT EMBA Association, succeeding Yi-Ling Chen, who completed her two-year term. The association integrates alumni from CYUT’s EMBA and SEMBA programs across multiple disciplines, creating a cross-industry network that connects graduates with the university and the broader business community.

During Chen’s tenure, the association launched several initiatives that reflected CYUT EMBA’s commitment to social responsibility and alumni engagement. These included a NT$500,000 donation to support disaster recovery in Hualien, assistance for after-school learning resources at a rural elementary school in Taichung, and the “CYUT Blood Donation Day,” which brought together alumni, students, and community members. The association also hosted the 15^th Central Taiwan EMBA Golf Tournament with participants from 12 universities and expanded alumni interaction through sports teams and interest clubs.

Wang stressed that EMBA alumni often bring strong leadership and industry experience. Through the association’s platform, alumni can continue contributing their expertise to teaching, research, and student development while strengthening collaboration between industry and academia. She plans to further integrate alumni resources to support educational innovation, expand industry partnerships, and enhance CYUT’s impact in society.
