In response to growing global demand for ESG and sustainability professionals, CYUT has partnered with six leading environmental companies to launch the CYUT Corporate Scholarship Program. The initiative, led by the Department of Environmental Engineering and Management, was introduced on March 17 and marks a new industry–academia model for developing green talent in areas such as green technology and carbon management.

The program provides students with monthly stipends of at least NT$10,000, along with fully paid internships during academic breaks and their senior year. It also features a structured retention mechanism: graduates who choose to work with participating companies repay the scholarship through fixed monthly salary deductions, while high-performing graduates may receive full scholarship reimbursement as a reward. This model ensures both financial support during study and a clear pathway to employment.

Applications are expected to open before April, with company interviews and placement scheduled in June. CYUT highlighted that the program aims to cultivate industry-ready professionals and create a sustainable, win–win partnership between talent development and industry needs.
