CYUT Ranks in Global Top 500 for Business and Economics, Showcases Alumni Excellence

CYUT has reached a new milestone, ranking among the global top 500 in Business and Economics in the 2026 Times Higher Education subject rankings. The university also placed among Taiwan’s top 10 and has remained the leading private technological university in this field for four consecutive years, outperforming several public universities while demonstrating strong teaching quality and industry–academia collaboration.

Coinciding with its 32nd anniversary, CYUT’s College of Management hosted the third Distinguished Alumni and Student Ambassador Awards, honoring 19 alumni for their achievements across sectors including finance, business management, insurance, accounting, leisure, and senior care. Six outstanding students were appointed as college ambassadors, reflecting the university’s commitment to talent development and mentorship while inspiring current students through alumni role models and peer leadership.


CYUT’s growing international recognition is further reflected in its inclusion in major global rankings such as THE 2026, QS 2026, and U.S. News Best Global Universities 2025–2026. According to Chih-Wei Lin, dean of the College of Management, the university’s continued progress is driven by its emphasis on practical education, strong industry partnerships, and career-focused training. Moving forward, CYUT aims to deepen global engagement, align with industry trends, and cultivate professionals with both expertise and a strong commitment to sustainability, strengthening its competitiveness in global business and management education.
