2. Eligibility

First-, second-, and third-year students in four-year undergraduate programs, as well as first-year master’s students, are eligible to apply.

3. Transfer Preferences

Applicants may apply to up to two departments and must clearly indicate their order of preference on the application form. Once submitted, the preference order cannot be changed. If both departments approve the application, placement will be determined according to the stated preference order.

4. Transfer Information

Information on the transfer quotas and evaluation criteria is provided in Attachment 2. The transfer application form (Attachment 3) may be obtained from the Admissions Section or the Joint Office of the Evening Division, or downloaded online. The list of admitted applicants is expected to be announced by July 20, 2026. Please check the “Latest News” section on the Admissions Section website for updates.

5. Application Submission

Applicants must complete the application form, indicate their preference order, obtain a parent or guardian’s signature, and submit the form along with all required documents (including transcripts) to the department(s) they wish to transfer to for review. If applying for two departments, separate application forms and supporting documents must be submitted for each.

6. Transfer Examinations:

For information regarding department or program-specific transfer examinations, please contact the respective department or program office directly.

7. Applicants requesting a transfer to a lower year should note that, under Ministry of Education regulations, students who repeat the same year are not eligible for additional tuition and fee reductions. As a result, full tuition and fees must be paid. Also, tuition obligations and the maximum period of study will be recalculated based on the new year of enrollment after the transfer.
