Protect Your Privacy: Watch Out for Hidden Cameras

Stay Alert: Know Where to Look

  1. High-Risk Areas

Be extra careful in places where privacy is expected, such as:

  • Restrooms
  • Locker rooms
  • Shower rooms
  • Empty classrooms
  1. Common Hiding Places

Hidden cameras may be disguised as everyday objects, including:

  • Hooks
  • Air fresheners
  • Smoke detectors
  • USB charging outlets
  1. What to Watch For

Look for tiny black holes, usually about 1–2 mm wide, on walls, ceilings, furniture, or other objects.

Remember 3 Simple Steps: Look, Scan, Report

  1. Look Around

Before using a private space, take a quick look around. Check for objects that seem unnecessary, out of place, or oddly positioned.

  1. Scan with Your Phone

Use your phone’s flashlight to check suspicious holes or objects for lens reflections. You may also check for unusual Wi-Fi signals nearby.

  1. Report It

If you find something suspicious, stay calm. Do not touch or move the object, as it may be evidence. Leave the area immediately and call the Campus Security Hotline: 04-23320808.
