Finishing your project is only the beginning. How should your text be read? How should your visuals guide the viewer’s attention? And how can the core idea of your design stand out to the judges in just a few seconds? We invite you to bring your work to the 2026 Layout Design Workshop.

Through two intensive days of hands-on layout practice and one-on-one presentation board reviews, you will learn how to improve your visual storytelling, graphic presentation, and information structure, and create a clearer, more engaging way for judges to understand your work.

Saturday–Sunday, December 5–6, 2026

Daily Schedule:
8:30 a.m. Check-in
9:00 a.m. Workshop begins
5:00 p.m. Workshop ends

Who Can Join:
Currently enrolled CYUT students may apply individually or as a team. CYUT faculty members are also welcome to attend as observers.

Number of Projects:
Up to 25 projects will be accepted.

Location:
A specialized classroom on campus. The exact location will be announced by the organizer.

Prepare the required materials and submit your application through the Google online registration form.

Participants should bring a competition-ready design project, along with the equipment needed for layout design, image editing, and graphic work, as well as the original project files.

Outstanding projects from the workshop may be selected for CYUT’s international design competition submission program and receive additional coaching and support.
