CYUT Poding Memorial Library was selected to present a poster at the 90^th IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) in Busan, South Korea, highlighting CYUT’s work in digital resilience, information security, privacy protection, and AI governance.

The poster, titled “Building Digital Resilience in the AI Era,” explored how university libraries can adopt emerging technologies while maintaining strong standards for cybersecurity, personal data protection, intellectual property, and AI ethics. It also showcased CYUT’s efforts to build a safer, more trustworthy, and resilient smart library environment.

Hsien-Wen Tseng, Chief Officer of Library and Information, emphasized that as AI continues to reshape learning, research, and access to information, libraries must balance innovation with responsible governance. CYUT’s presentation reflected university-wide efforts to strengthen information security and privacy management while sharing practical experience with the international library community.

CYUT’s Office of Poding Memorial Library and Information Services has also continued to expand professional and interlibrary collaboration and was recently recognized for its service by a national library cooperation organization.

The presentation builds on CYUT’s broader commitment to sustainability and smart campus development. Looking ahead, the university will continue advancing AI applications, information literacy, cybersecurity, AI ethics, and international collaboration to create a safer, smarter, and more inclusive library for the future.
