On September 14, students reported an ant infestation to the Office of Student Affairs. The General Services Section responded promptly and completed pesticide spraying early the next morning, September 15, in stairways and outdoor areas across campus.

Glass ants are an invasive ant species. They are small in size but can be highly aggressive and defensive. They may disturb students, faculty, and staff while walking or working on campus, affecting daily activities and the overall campus environment.
