CYUT and SINBON Electronics have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen international student recruitment and industry-focused talent development. The partnership will combine CYUT’s academic and research strengths with SINBON’s industry resources to create a seamless pathway from recruitment and education to internships and employment in Taiwan.

Founded in 1989, SINBON Electronics is a leading provider of solutions for smart transportation, humanoid robotics, renewable energy, and automated manufacturing, with a strong commitment to sustainability. The company and CYUT will work together in areas such as information and communications engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, artificial intelligence, data analytics, IoT and AIoT, embedded systems, edge computing, smart manufacturing, automation, and production management. The two organizations also plan to recruit international students through overseas partner institutions and align academic training more closely with real industry needs.

CYUT President Tao-Ming Cheng said the partnership marks an important step in the university’s efforts to expand international education and industry collaboration. SINBON will support students through living allowances, internship opportunities, and priority consideration for employment, while also participating in curriculum development, student projects, and career preparation. The goal is to build a complete talent-development pipeline and prepare internationally competitive graduates with practical, job-ready skills.
