Or maybe you already have a class project, research project, technical solution, or design concept and want to take it to the international stage?

Join the 20^th Creative Ideas Competition and turn your ideas into innovative concepts with creativity, practical value, and future potential.

Your idea can come from everyday life, campus experiences, social issues, industry needs, teaching and research, student projects, or emerging trends.

Two-Stage Competition

In Stage 1, participants will compete in the 20^th Creative Ideas Competition, where original and innovative ideas will be evaluated.

Projects receiving Gold, Silver, or Bronze Awards in Stage 1 are generally required to participate in Stage 2: the 2026 International Invention Exhibition Project Review.

Selected projects may be recommended for participation in international invention exhibitions, the Taiwan Innotech Expo, or other related competitions and mentoring programs.

Competition Categories

1️⃣ Creative Ideas Category

This category is designed for ideas inspired by class assignments, everyday observations, campus life, social issues, future trends, interdisciplinary workshops, or early-stage creative concepts.

It is ideal for projects that are still at the concept development stage but demonstrate originality, a clear understanding of a problem, and strong potential for further development.

2️⃣ Innovation Projects Category

This category is intended for capstone projects, research projects, teaching and research outcomes, funded project results, technology integration, prototypes, practical applications, or interdisciplinary collaborations.

It is ideal for projects with a clearly defined problem-solving approach, practical application potential, and a foundation in technology or design integration. Projects should also have the potential to advance to international invention exhibitions, patent searches, or other competitions and mentoring programs.

Who Can Participate?

The competition is open to currently enrolled CYUT students, full-time faculty and staff, and individuals involved in CYUT research, teaching, student projects, or other university projects.

Participants may enter individually or as a team.

Cross-department, cross-unit, and interdisciplinary teams are welcome!
Teams should generally have no more than 8 members, including the faculty advisor.

Individuals and teams may submit more than one entry, with no limit on the number of projects submitted. A separate registration must be completed for each project.

Application deadline: Friday, December 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Please complete the online application and upload all required materials before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
